Port Washington State Bank (PWSB) partnered with Family Sharing of Ozaukee to create an evening filled with free food, fun kids' activities, and an opportunity to shred sensitive documents, all while benefitting Ozaukee County families in need. The Back to School Bash was held at the PWSB branch in Grafton on Tuesday, September 10th, 2019. Community members and customers in attendance shredded sensitive documents and provided a donation of either a jar of peanut butter or jelly, or a cash donation.
"The Back to School Bash is an event the whole community can enjoy, and benefits fellow Ozaukee County families who need a little extra help to keep kids energized and ready to learn," said James S. Schowalter, SVP-Chief Credit Officer and fifth-generation owner. Donations will all go to Family Sharing which provides food at no cost to local residents who need it.
PWSB also provided free food with a brat fry, including a brat or hot dog, chips, a cookie, and soda or water. There were also plenty of kids' activities present including face painting, a coloring contest, and special guest DJ Matt who provided entertainment in the form of music and karaoke for kids.
The Back to School Bash is a chance to safely get rid of undesired documents and celebrate students going back to school, all while doing some good for the community. Join us next year!
