In Spite of the Pandemic, PWSB Creatively Honors Employees for Notable Years of Service

Our Greatest Asset isn’t on our Balance Sheet.

An article on Forbes.com titled “Loyal Employees Are the Result of 5 Basic Assets,” says it best: “Employees are a company’s greatest asset – they’re your competitive advantage.” At PWSB we couldn’t agree more.  Our people are at the heart of our brand.

That is why, at Port Washington State Bank, we celebrate those team members that have been with us for more than 5 years or multiples of 5 years. This year, given the pandemic, in lieu of our traditional in-person celebration, we are honoring our milestone staff by donating to the charity of their choosing.

When asked to comment on her years of service with PWSB, Annie Stadler, Fredonia Branch Manager and 25-year veteran of the bank replied, “A new day, a new experience here at PWSB. I look forward to coming to work every day, and to this day that is still true. I have made so many friends over the years with all the wonderful customers, mentors and co-workers.”

Mark Schowalter, Board Director, Vice Chairman celebrated 50-years with the bank and shared what he felt was most rewarding. “My favorite takeaways were the friendships and relationships that were made over the years with co-workers, customers and vendors. What the bank was able to do in our communities as far as donations and volunteer efforts was always a great source of pride for me.”
