On September 19, Lois Roeske was presented with the Cedarburg Chamber of Commerce Ladies who Lead Professional Services Award. Since 2007, Lois has been the manager of the Cedarburg branch where she is a humble servant of the Cedarburg community and an ideal leader.

Growing up in Cedarburg, Lois attended Cedarburg Schools and chose to continue her professional career in a community she loves. If there is an event going on in Cedarburg, there is a good chance you will see Lois helping out. Just to name a few, Lois attends the tree lighting, pumpkin walk, small business Saturday, and the snapshot breakfast for the chamber each year. She’s helped at various events for various nonprofits over the past decade. From set up to cleaning up, and everything in between, Lois has shown boundless advocacy by being a servant to others. Lois is currently President of the Interfaith Caregivers of Ozaukee County.

“We couldn’t ask for a better leader than Lois for our Cedarburg branch.  She consistently demonstrates the values and principles in which our brand is rooted: community service, family and hard work,” commented Amy Kauper, Vice President of Retail Banking.

As Amy stated, Lois’ strong leadership is recognized and continues to be valued at Port Washington State Bank. Her traits of leadership, patience, and strong communication skills make her a key asset to any team. In mirroring PWSB values, Lois’ belief is that family comes first. Not only is Lois a proud military wife, she is also a proud mother of two children and three grandchildren who consider their mom a shining example of what a leader should be.

In reflection of receiving her award, Lois shared, “In my 29 years in the banking industry, working for PWSB has been the highlight for me. I love the community bank culture, family first philosophy and the many opportunities and tools given to me to succeed at work, and in doing things in the community that I am passionate about.”

PWSB is lucky to have Lois as part of our team for over 16 years! Congratulations, Lois!
