Port Washington State Bank is continuing its support of Marie Kraus Park, committing $65,000 toward a new pavilion near the popular PWSB Splash Zone. The donation builds on the bank’s earlier $50,000 contribution that secured naming rights for the splash pad, which has quickly become a favorite destination for local families.
“At Port Washington State Bank, we believe in supporting projects that enhance the quality of life for the communities we serve,” said President and CEO James Schowalter. He noted that the new pavilion will create a shaded, welcoming space for families to gather, celebrate, and make memories while enjoying the park and Splash Zone.
Village Administrator Christophe Jenkins praised the bank’s continued investment, calling it another example of what can be achieved through strong community partnerships. The Splash Zone, unveiled with a ribbon-cutting ceremony last November and officially celebrated with a grand opening in May, is now open for the season. The addition of the pavilion will further enhance Marie Kraus Park as a gathering place for residents and visitors alike.
