Port Washington State Bank recently completed the purchase of the building in which its Mequon branch currently resides, located at 10509 N. Port Washington Road in Mequon, just north of the Donges Bay Road intersection. In addition to housing the bank’s eighth branch location, the 8,000 square-foot building is also home to Vertz Marketing and Mind and Body Medical Spa.  

The purchase, which was between Concord Development and Port Washington State Bank, closed on May 1. Port Washington State Bank has occupied the North end of the building since April of 2019 when it opened its eighth branch in Ozaukee County. The branch currently holds $60 million in assets. The bank has no immediate plans to modify the building.

The bank is undergoing some renovations at its location in Cedarburg on Washington Avenue, to include additional meeting space, more private banking offices and a larger workspace for its customer service group which operates from behind the teller line. There are also plans to significantly remodel its Fredonia branch located at 201 Regal Drive, to include an expansion of square footage on the first floor and retooled drive-thru service lanes.
