Notice: Fraudulent Calls to Business Customers

Scammers claiming to represent PWSB are contacting customers to verify transactions and obtain bank information. If you receive such a call, hang up and contact PWSB directly.

Understanding Public Mortgage Records and Unsolicited Mail

Did you know that following the closing of your loan, certain information—including your name, mortgage lender, loan amount, and property address—becomes public record? This occurs because the mortgage document is filed with the Register Of Deeds. As a result, external companies may access this information and use it to send unsolicited marketing materials or misleading solicitations.

Some of these communications may be designed to appear as though they are officially issued by Port Washington State Bank. While the decision to engage with any offered products or services remains yours, we encourage careful review. Please note that all official correspondence from Port Washington State Bank will be provided on our formal letterhead.

Reducing Unsolicited Mail

To limit credit and insurance marketing offers, you may elect to opt out by visiting:

To complete the opt‑out request, you will be required to provide your full name, complete mailing address, Social Security Number, and date of birth to ensure the correct matching of your credit file.
