Gather your sensitive documents that need shredding

When and Where

Port Washington State Bank is having a community-wide shredding event at their Fredonia branch Wednesday, June 12 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., or, until the truck is filled. Our Fredonia branch is located at 201 Regal Drive. Vehicles should enter the bank from Regal Drive and turn into our parking lot, then exit the lot by turning right (South) onto Highland Street.

What to Bring

A shredding truck will be collecting and professionally shredding your sensitive documents on site. Your papers will be finely shredded and then recycled. Note that the shredders are strong enough to shred paper clips, staples, hanging folders, file folders, magazines and hardbound books. However, the following cannot be shredded: metal (aside from paper clips and staples), binder clips, 3-ring binders, plastic, DVDs, CDs, cell phones and batteries.

In exchange for providing shredding services free of charge, we hope you will consider a cash donation to PWSB Splash Zone at Marie Kraus Park. PWSB will be matching donations up to $25,000.

Limitations

Note that due to the high demand for shredding and the limited space in the shredding truck, each vehicle is allowed 2 boxes or 2 grocery bags of paper.
