How PWSB Employees Turn Jeans into Generosity

At Port Washington State Bank, Fridays are more than just the end of the workweek. They’re an opportunity to give back. Through the Casual for a Cause program, employees can wear jeans each Friday in exchange for a $5 donation. It’s a simple gesture with a meaningful impact.

Launched in 2022 by suggestion of a few employees, the program empowers our staff to support local charities they care about. Each donation not only grants the privilege of dressing down but also earns the employee a vote toward selecting the next charity recipient. This democratic approach ensures that the causes supported reflect the values and passions of the PWSB team.

Whether it's helping families in need, supporting youth programs, or funding medical research, Casual for a Cause proves that small contributions can lead to big change—one pair of jeans at a time.
